Some Award 6.0 Bios questions here, trying to do some web searches on what exactly is "Bank Interleave"? Seems like everything I find is in relation to SDRAM and stuff, just wondering what's the best setting to setit as and what exactly is it? Even Phoenix's website is not clear.

Also, is there a general concensus if it is better to enable or disable system bios caching and/or video bios caching??? I know about problems if programs actually use the allocated memory if you enable the caching, but just wondering if the added performance is worth the risk? I have 256MB of PC2100 DDR RAM on an Epox 8kha+

Disable Video BIOS caching, and System BIOS caching. Enable Bank Interleave.

Interleaving allows banks of SDRAM to alternate their refresh and access cycles. One bank will go through it's refresh cycle as another bank is being accessed. It effectively allows the DRAM to "hide" it's refresh cycle.
