Bank Interleave on KT266A

I've had the same system for a year and a half now (Epox 8HKA+, XP 1900+, 2x stick of 256mb) and I decided to add another 256mb of memory.

I got the same stick I got when I first bought the system (Crucial 256mb CL2.5), and I thought everything would be fine.

The only problem is, unlike the other 2 sticks, this one wasn't double sided. I used search and read as long as you have either 1 double sided stick, or multiple sticks, Bank Interleave should work, but now I am constantly crashing with it on 🙁

Is the problem that I have 3 sticks of memory, or that 1 of them is only single sided? How exactly do you tell when you are ordering memory? The 32x64 label?

I don't know the technical answers, but I did find that I also had to back down to 2 bank interleave when I got a 3rd stick of memory on my KT266A board as well. Probably something simple about the number of banks necessary, but I never checked it out further.
