What bank was this? Hope it was something small. I'm mortgage is in it's final phase from Wells Fargo. I don't think you have much of an option other than to wait. It's not like the broker is asking for more money or raising the rates, so I wouldn't think it's a bluff. Contact the lawyer and reschedule.
