Okay, a little more info needed here.

What screen resolution do you game on?
What games you trying to play?
What CPU do you have in your system?
What power supply (PSU) do you have (if not model, wattage or amps)?

We really need these bits before can make an educated recommendation.

We are less than a month away from a major generation change in GPUs. Unless you want to buy something for some really specific reason, right now it's a very good idea to wait until new things release. Even if you don't want to buy the new cards, new releases usually mean that the old stuff will be available cheaper. (Especially if buying used.)

With the new cards coming soon, I'd wait if you can. Even if you don't buy one of the new variants, they should drive prices down for the previous cards.
