I am mostly a MMORPG and RTS gamer with very mild FPS gaming. Some minor programming getting gradually more indepth as I train for the Air Force.

I am trying to figure out which graphics card to get out of

6800
6800GT
9800Pro
X800PRO

Or even something else good I mainly want the most power per dollar. for a game like World of Warcraft

Here is what I have so far for my new system
Athlon 64 3500+
74 GB Raptor
Corsair Value Select Dual Channel Kit 184 Pin 1G(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200
MotherBoard not sure yet which 939 any ideas here to?
Need a good power supply to

I have enough money for whatever but don't see a need to over spend if it won't make much difference in what I do. Sorry I have been out of the loop for a while questions may seem stupid.

6600GT is supposed to be a very nice bang for the buck once it hits the AGP Platform. ... I was going to point you to a 6600GT review by HardOCP.com but their site seems to be offline atm..

The 9800Pro is notably cheaper than the others you listed. And because you don't FPS much, 9800Pro seems like a sweet spot. BTW, Anandtech's Mid-Range System guide had the 9800Pro as the alternate video card (the 9600Pro was the other).

WoW won't need too great a vid card, so the 9800PRO should do nicely and costs less. Save your money for the damn 15 bucks a month fee.
