bandwidth utilization tool?

I am running Vista Home Premium 64 bit.

I am using a laptop, and a pcexpress EV-DO Verizon wireless card to connect to the internet. Over the last few weeks it has been working fine, but for some reason today, everything seems a ton slower. My wife noticed it while I was at work, and I checked it out when I got home.

I would like a tool, if they make one, that can tell me what is connecting to the network, and what it is doing.

I guess I could turn my firewall on to block everything, except my web browser and see if that changes anything.

In the meantime, a little help please.

Thank you.

I believe Netlimiter has a free version that allows you to throttle bandwidth... not sure if it'll run on 64-bit Vista, though.

I'm not sure which firewall you use but Comodo Firewall has this ability. Too look at current bandwidth I use a utility called NetMeter. Though I'm not sure if it runs in Vista. I think Vista has a built in app on the sidebar that lets you view current bandwidth anyways.

Thank you for the replies. I actually found the option in Kaspersky Firewall and it lists stuff accessing the net.
