Bandwidth used by MSN messenger?

Anyone have any idea of how much bandwidth IM uses? We're using it within our company but we've got a DSL bandwidth cap and I need to know how much chatting via messenger is using up. I realise it's probably a tiny amount each message but it all adds up.

Anyone got any ideas?
