"Bandwidth Meter" For Satellite?

olds

Elite Member
I just got satellite internet with Wildblue.
Is there an application that I can run in my system try to show bandwidth speeds?
Something that preferably works with a mouse over.
I just want to keep track of my speeds while I am still in my 30 day trial period.
TIA

Kerio's Personal Firewall has something close to what you are looking for.

You do have to click on the icon on the system tray, but it tells your bandwidth usage (very accurately and with fast refreshes) as well as all the used ports:

Here's a pic of it running in my desktop.

There's also a Widget for Yahoo's Widget Engine which tells you Bandwidth usage as well as how much you've downloaded / uploaded in your current session:

Bandwidth monitor

It's always on your desktop so you can see it all times. It does require the whole Yahoo Widget engine (which is free by the way.)
