Bandwidth Delay Product (BDP)

Hello every one.

I know about Bandwidth Delay Product (BDP) but in Netwrok Simulator 2 (NS-2) there is 1.5 BDP queue size mentioned...i could not able to find what is this..how it calculates..NS 2 uses different sizes for TCP Performance evaluation..for example 0.5BDP queue size..2 BDP queue size...hows it all calculates and whats the meaning of this...plz help me

sorry, I can't help you, but just curious...is this something you do at work, or are you seeking help for college assignment?

I took a queueing theory class back in college that would deal w/ things like this, but quite honestly, I've never needed to use it in my networking career, and I don't expect anyone to, unless you work for Spirent, or work as a software engineer for networking gear.
