bandwidth caps based on forum? (for zuni?)

i was wondering if it was possible for the servers to adjust the bandwidth caps based on the forum the user is in. for example, the general hardware forum would allow more bandwidth, whereas the anandtech news and anandtech articles forums could have less. would this be possible, or would it be too hard to configure to actually do any good?

Besides that, shouldn't Anandtech News and Anandtech Articles get MORE bandwidth given their very purpose? 😕
Not really, since they barely get any use... it wouldn't do any good to limit how much bandwidth was being used, because I'm sure not many people use those 2 forums anyways...

take away from offtopic and add to others would be a good idea though.

It's certainly not can't, it's just not possible thats not the way this technology works, it's a switch just with ports on it like you'd have at home, only it can shape traffic, quite a bit more advanced than your home units. This is done on a port by port basis, so machine by machine. Not Category by category on a piece of software running on a machine 😉.
