Band of Brothers sequel?

Not so much a "sequal" per-se, but another series, only this time following men in the pacific theater.

I don't think there was one group of men that saw so much of the pacific campaign though, like the guys in Easy company did in Europe. It'll be interesting to see how its handled.

Yes, its going to be centered on the Pacific action. Its not really a sequel per se, but it should be very similiar. Its the same director so it should be good.

I wonder if they would base it off another book. Stephen E. Ambrose concentrated on the European Theater so that would be out of the question. Though, I wouldn't mind seeing The Wild Blue made into a mini-series.

I was about to say that would be hard to make a sequel out of. A similar story for the Pacific would be awesome...but again...I'm not aware of a specific group that had a similar period of action on that front.

Wasn't there a sequel ion the works? What is happening with it?

They're still waiting for World War III to break out before they do the sequel based on that. 😛

From what i've heard, it's like BoB but a little different. It focuses on the Pacific but (now these are early rumors mind you) it's not just one company like Easy. It's supposed to follow a few different people, who are not in the same company, but are serving in all different parts of the Pacific Theater, yet their paths intersect somehow.
