Band of Brothers - Book vs Mini Series

If I hadn't seen the miniseries I'm not sure how I would have felt about the book, because it's hard to keep track of all of the names in the book without a face to put them with. The series follows the book very accurately, even the parts that I figured they put in to spice it up were in the book as well. The book did include more details though, including their record-setting 3 day march to Atlanta (I think?).

In short, they're both great.

I found the book way too detailed for my liking. In order to enjoy the book, i think you would need a map of the area as well. It really wasn't important to me to know that they were in one spot 3 KM west of this town and 4 KM south of this town. It's very detailed reading. I did read it though and enjoyed it, but I thought the mini series was much less confusing and more entertaining.
