Hrrm. BoB was excellent, but where's the 'sequel' nature to it? The story wasn't WWII, the story was about soldiers in WWII. Seems to me setting it in WWI or Korea would be more useful in telling about people in a place and time than just moving the place.

 

Unless it's excellent as the first, it's going to have a hard time living up to the first.

The war in the pacific was a totally different war than the one that took place in europe.

Yeah, I heard about this somewhere a few weeks ago. I am looking forward to it. As a matter of fact I am reading a book on Iwo Jima right now. The Marines suffered more losses on Iwo than all of the other islands in the Pacific combined. I am certain the movie will be as well made as BoB was.

I have utmost repsect for those WWII vets.
