go to bananarepublic.com and you should find lots of good stuff on sale.. $300 blazers for $150..
you get free shipping with $100+ purchase..

the key to get good stuff during banana republic big sales is get there early at the start of the sale..
if you go there on weekend during one of these sales, the place almost turns to a flea-market!

They have good return policy. You can buy it online and return it to stoe if you're not happy with it.

I checked it out, liked some of the things they had, compiled enough clothes to surpass the $100 limit for free shipping...when i went to check out...

They gave me free shipping because it's my first purchase on Banana Republics web-site.

so for ppl who haven't bought anything on their site b4, you don't necessarily have to spend $100 to get free shipping!

Just got back from a Banana store. It was a zoo with 90% women in attendace. That left the men's stuff pretty open for me to browse. If you like their jeans, all jeans are $19.99. I didn't really notice any spectacular prices. Much of the onsale clothing was linen. I walked out with 3 shirts (non-linen) and a black belt for $76. That was after my 10% that they sent me in the mail and NO sales tax on clothing here in MN! :D I'm pretty pleased with that.

If only they didn't go downhill style-wise

It depends on the store location ... stores in rich or touristic areas have a totally different mechandise than in smaller towns, where they just sell the same junk as GAP.
I live in La Jolla and the one we have here is pretty good, but kind of small.
My favorite in the one in Downtown Chicago, San Fransisco and Manhatten .. and the one in Santa Barabara of course .. and don't forget Santa Monica

hehe.. in bay area, you can't go any places without a car.

I got a friend just moved from NYC, she didn't have a car there because of the very convenient public transportation. She thought she can survives in bay area without a car. Now she's complaining bay area is so boring since she can't go to most of the places without a car.

What's the deal with those jeans chicks wear that are all worn out on the thighs and ass? Is it because they wanna draw attention to their fat ass?

Nice! I picked up some stuff on br.com - it's always a shame to see things you bought a couple of months ago at half the cost. My answer, buy another one and average the cost!

I just got back from the mall...and BR had some nice stuff, but the best part of the sales are the shoes. You have to go check out the shoes if you need a pair...some decent sandals, but I got two pair loafers (one was similar to this, but didn't have the thick stitching...more smooth appearance) for $29 each! One pair was originally $155, so I'm very happy with those...give my Kenneths a rest.

But yeah, it's probably worth it just to check out the sale...but go early, the line was about 15-20 minutes long at 3PM.

same here, the first time I saw it I thought it just some old jeans. I didn't stare I just glance as I walk by. then I find it everyone.

I guess they want to draw attention to their asses. Some of them yeah, good attention grabber. Others, please don't wear thoses.
