banana question

on the outside of the banana, before you peel it...it gets black....

now if u open it...there are black parts on the inside of the banana, what exactly is that?

black things on a banana??? ummm...the dots on the outside are the peel starting to rot...the ones on the inside are half eaten worms

My understanding is that the black/brown dots inside a banana used to be seeds; however, they have been cultivated in such a way so that over time the seeds have been reduced to just dots.

He's talking about the little black specks. Look close, towards the center.

They're basically undeveloped, dead seeds. The bananas we use in plantations don't make fertile seeds, but they kinda try.

It's kinda like the small white seeds that you'll find in "seedless" watermelon.
