Amazing. I drink one at 8:30 am before work everyday (there're 86 stores within 2 miles of my office in downtown D.C.) and one after work to get some sugar boost before working out. So good, so bad! :)

that's 1 serving @ 16oz. Add 33% for Venti size. I coudn't bring myself to spending 8 bucks a day on starbucks drinks(if you buy venti size that is).

Starbucks is expensive but even then a venti size near where i live is 4 or 5 bucks, must be super expensive where you live.

Yuck, when I drink coffee I prefer that it at least have some coffee flavor to it, in fact, the stronger the better. Espresso > *

I drink 6 cups of Turkish coffee a day (stronger than Espresso) :) Banana Coconut Frappucino is a beverage, not a coffee replacement ;)

Sounds like it'd taste awesome, but I don't think I could ever work up the courage to order one.

Not to mention how Starbucks uses child slave labor to harvest its coffee beans.

I saw a Strawberries and Cream one, but it didn't have any coffee in it per the ingredients, so I passed.

Edit: Wait, I thought we were talking about the cold coffees drinks you get in the glass bottles at the store.

For the record, Turkish coffee is not "stronger" than espresso unless you have a unique definition of strength.

Banana + Coconut makes a great drink.

For the record, yes it is. Depends on where you get it. If you get it in a bag or a can in the supermarket, sure, it will be modified to fit the average consumer's preference. Not the stuff my grandparents send me :) Oh by the way, it was the Turks that introduced coffee to the Europeans

How exactly are you defining strength? What do your grandparents send you that are different than what you get elsewhere? It's coffee. Are you referring to how dark it's roasted, the grind, or something else?

The SCAA defines it as the ratio of water to coffee solubles in the resultant liquor, and without question espresso is the most concentrated. It's brewed under ~9 atmospheres of pressure and extracts at least 80-90% of solubles in ~25 seconds for ~2oz of liquor.

You are likely defining strength in some more generic term, but in the world of coffee Turkish represents a thick and flavorful cup, but not the most concentrated.

my bad - i thought klin was refering to one venti (not the op's two) and meant drinks just in the general sense as opposed to once again.. the op >< It was early in the morning.. wait 2 in the afternoon? maybe i was drunk already, i dunno.

i ended picked one up (largely due to this thread) and it wasn't bad, but mine came out kinda watery which sucked :( But it was pretty tasty (the parts that wern't uncrushed ice or pure syrup)

It's a pretty good drink. Friend and I went to STarbux today to try the Banana stuff. She got the Banana Coconut, while I got hte Banana Creme (bleh no coffee at night).... Really good drinks =)

I'll stick with my doubleshots in the morning till I run out.
