Ban on the term redneck

can we get a ban on the use of redneck? there is a ban on other racial derogatory words, why not redneck?

Redneck is not a race. Anyone can be a redneck. I've known rednecks of different colors in different countries.

I think were talking about banning it in the derogitory way, when people say you must be a "toothless slackjawed yokel" cause your redneck or just cause you like nascar you are a redneck. Its just wrong and offensive.

Where do rednecks hail from? Redneckonia? It is a lifestyle, not a race. Which is actually kind of funny because being bigoted usually comes with said lifestyle. I used to live in rural Ohio, and most rednecks were proud enough of the term to have it emblazoned across the windshield of their jacked-up trucks. Maybe that is like the N word were they are taking it back to make it lose meaning?😕

Anyhow, I have pretty thick skin and believe that old adage "words will never hurt me" it's too bad others can't realize this, but such is the touchy-feely society that we live in today...

QFT. If AT banned it imo that would be like banning free speach.... I have been called a redneck before and I am not but I was not offended.... I have friends that are rednecks and they call themselves that.. Hell some rednecks have it plastered across their truck windshield..
