Do you have enough command of this language to be able to choose correct words to express your thoughts? Apparently having to use cuss words indicates otherwise.

I read some of that stuff, and I am wondering the same thing. Mark is one of the mellow guys. Was it just a bad reply to the wrong person? I would hope so.

Thanks. The mods commented in my post above saying I shouldn;t need to use cuss words, but I didn't even use any. Whats up here ? And my compliant was that I was reacting to a discourteous post, but that person was not banned, I was (one post). But this person this thread is about went for days and many posts before being banned. This is the type of inconsistant moderation that I an complaining about.

Pay very close attention to the 3rd post (yours), the 7th post (mine) and the 9th post (yours) which is the one that got you the holiday.

The only words out of my fingers were, "Including this post of yours?" in the 7th post of the thread as I quoted you saying, "Anybody can post anything on the internet, thats a bunch of crap. I have a Turion laptop, and it screams."

That was discourteous? That was my way of saying, "If anyone can post anything on the internet, then why are your posts any different.".

You then proceed to call me something in the 9th post of the thread. You make it sound as if I said something bad about a family member of yours to provoke you to say something like you did. I would just stop all the drama. You deserved the holiday for what you said. As I would have if I started cursing at you. Just control your temper, and try to keep things calm. It's just like you have become closer to transistors than you have to real people. Don't let that happen.

While it is not my say at all, just in case someone is listening, that did not seem ban to deserve a ban compared to some other things I have seen, and to me looks like someone *cough called the wambulance cough* reported him trhough PM to a mod.

I am all for cleaning up that type of language though, but I think a warning would have been sufficent, but like I said, I do not know anything, maybe he has had a previous record etc.

Just trying to gain some insight, but I think the Moderating is consistant. If you do not want a vacation, do not toe the line, or even go near it for that matter. To even be considered for a vacation you did something that anyone with common sense can see you should not have done, or stated better, and should not be disputed when a Mod cracks down.

No "cough" necessary. The one who reported it already came forward and made it clear. It was not I, nor did I have any intention to do so. It is what it is. I did however, PM a mod about designit.

If he still can not understand why I gave him his vacation, then he needs to have some-one else review his post and the comments in that post that did him in, and comments this latest post in the other Thread

Any more discussion regarding his situation will become cause for concern.....
