Bamboo poles

Anyone know where i can find 8 foot bamboo poles about 1 inch in diameter in NY Chinatown? Friend needs them for a wedding...about 12 poles. I found a few places online, but it costs more than the actual bamboo to ship them.

Try Home Depot or other home improvement store. they MAY have them for use as tree or plant stakes.
