LOL, I saw that too, he seemed to keep his eyes up most of the time. The rig he climbed was specially built for the stunt you can see where it locked the tread and the end of the boom got locked in with pins to stay put, powerful hydraulic system on display but I don't see this being used in any construction application.

Camera angles - probably not right beneath the machine as it appears. MAYBE...
As it appears in the OP video the power and telegraph lines look precariously close but there's likely plenty of room.
Oh and that's a German machine - you're right on that - hydraulics never fail, made in Germany.![]()
