Getting ready to pick up a 2GB (2x1) Kit for a new system. I see the Crucial recommended a lot but the corsair ones are currently cheaper. They both show 4-4-4-12 timings. Is it worth going with the corsair and saving a little money or are the crucial's a clear winner?

which Corsair XMS2s? Some have ProMOS chips and others have D9's. Depends on the model and revision of the sticks.

From what I know, ProMOS and other "non-Micron" after November 2006 (for DDR2 800.)

If you dont overclock the corsair will be fine... supposedly the promos can do 5-5-512 @ ddr950ish... so there is some overhead there at relaxed timings.
