Alright guys, something's wrong with the LED blinking speed of the Tracer 8500 modules I bought a couple months back (2x 2GB kits - 4 modules). Whenever I set the modules to run at 800MHz (5-5-5-15 or 4-4-4-12) between 1.8 - 2.2v, the LED lights will behave normally and blink accordingly to memory load. However, if I run the modules at the 1066MHz rated speed (5-5-5-15 at 2.2v) or basically any speed above 900MHz or so, the LEDs on the modules will hardly blink at all during Windows bootup and will only blink occasionally during full memory load (and I mean one LED at a time slow as molasses). Are the modules intended to run this way? It doesn't seem right that they aren't blinking properly at the rated speed. I have tried them on two different motherboards and have tried tuning MCH, ICH, AND ICH10 voltages but nothing changes. I also just got my brand new RMA'd Abit IP35 Pro v1.1 the other day, so I can't really believe the motherboard is the problem. I've done memtest several times and there's no problems. I'm concerned about the lights because aren't they supposed to resemble the access speed to each of the individual memory chips? Please let me know what can be done. Thanks in advance.

I'd call up Crucial tech support -- I've found them to be very helpful in the past.

I emailed Crucial, since it's the weekend, but I'll call them up tomorrow - no response yet.

Also, I noticed that the lights seem to blink faster when I set the modules to a lower voltage (2.15v instead of 2.20v). Perhaps there's too much voltage going into the LEDs? I don't know, but it's annoying having the lights stay in an ever so inactive, lifeless position.
