I don't rant often, actually never on this board, but am I the only one who would like to find the "designer" of that God-damn annoying Patriot memory ad in the left column that keeps flashing and give her/him some ballbat justice?
That may be *the* most annoying ad I've seen in over 11 years of surfing, and certainly the worst one I've ever viewed on Anandtech.
Some may say "Ah, but it did its job and was memorable to you". While that is certainly true, I remember Jeffery Dahmer and Timothy McVeigh too, and in about the same light as that ad. What it has accomplished, with me anyway, is to virtually insure I will never buy a stick of Patriot memory, ever.
