Ball bearings

In what type of B&M store can I buy ball bearings? None at Home Depot.
Else online? Also if matching up to one I already have, would I have to use a caliper measurer to measure it?
I just need one...

There are stores that do nothing but sell bearings. Take your old bearing in and they will match it up.

Try a local bicycle shop......they use lots of loose bearings and should have what you need. They also should have a ruler with bearing sizes punched out in it, just put the bearing on heach hole until it fits through. Simple and one single bearing should cost about 5 cents out the door.

Mcmastercarr is the big all purpose have it there yesterday mail order catalog. They have just about everything you could want.

I used them at my summer job, they're really well managed. You order something one day, and if it's a common part you'll have it the next or the day after.

Well trying to find one locally would be much easier and cheaper, but I've checked auto zone (none) and the local bicycle shop here. The one I need is about 5/16" (4mm), almost the size of a BB. The bike shop only had one quite a bit larger and one quite a bit smaller. If they should have more sizes than that (?), I'll check other bike shops, but they're pretty far out of the wayl
