Baldur's Gate 2 Installation: Asking for disc 5? WTF!!!

There's only four discs in the box, so what disc does it mean when it asks for disc 5? I couldn't find anything on the Interplay web site.:|

You havent installed Bg2 as well as Bg? If so maybe you have run the wrong exe. I did this at first and it was asking for disc 6 (TOTSC).

Took me a few minutes to realise i was choosing the wrong one

You probably have disk 2 on your cd, check that it's disk 1. Then reboot. Install, that should do it.

Don't worry about it anymore. I just did the install again, and the second time it worked fine. However, I think you're onto something Damocles, I did have BG installed before, but I deleted it before I tried to install BG2. I wonder what files left behind by the BG uninstall may have effected the BG2 install.

I'm still in Chapter 2 and I bought the game when it was released. Pretty pathetic, I know. I guess you could say I'm &quot;savoring&quot; this one. heh.

The game is great but I'm alwayz lost. I can never follow the chapters so I get into trouble.
