Baldur's Gate 1 PROBLEM GRRR HELP!!!

that damn Lothander poisoned me and now he is no where to be found!!! and i've heard that when u goto candlekeep and goto jail or something then someone will cure me, but when i step into candlekeep i keep on dying!!! GRRRR any suggestions??!

take a hammer, and thrust it towards your monitor REALLY fast... should solve your Baldurs Gate problems...

Hmm ive done that, now there is a big crack on my monitor and the colors are messed up but i still keep on dying any suggestions?

go to the high priest near the harbor and she will ask you for a book, then go to some temple in nw corner and he will give it to you if you beg nicely and have a high reputation, then go back to her and get the cure. then go talk to lothar again or something.

the thing is.. ive done that (before posting this ive read all faqs and BG forums i could find) and that 's what i was supposed to do, but in certain time. now when i try to find lothander HE IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!.... grrrr... is it time to start over again? (well havent played this since last summer anyways so i fogot the plot mostly anyways... oh well>.)
