Bald eagle -vs- C-130

Sorry for the bird, but at least the airplane won this one. It doesn't always happen that way:

On Sept. 22, 1995, 31 geese crossed trails with an E3-B AWACS radar surveillance jet above the runway at Elmendorf Air Force Base. Six were inhaled by the engines, causing flameout, loss of power and a catastrophic fireball crash killing all 24 airmen on board and vaporizing a $180 million aircraft.

We lost the front seat student pilot in a T-38 Trainer at Reese AFB, Texas back in '68 to a bird strike with a Sand Crane.

Through both the windshield & front of helmet.
