Bald Eagle Day - Utah

Saturday was Bald Eagle Day in Utah, so me and the wife went up to some Fish Hatchery place in the middle of now where to gaze at some bald eagles. The eagles just sat in a tree about half a mile away. They had telescopes set up so you could see them. They just sat there.

anyway, here is a pic of the place (360° Panoramic)

The Eagles were hanging out in the tree behind the orange tinted tree... here...you can see them as the black blurbs in the tree...

Here's the best my camera would do (12x Optical, 3X Digital)... here

Here's one up close...Display Model

Same bird, about to kill some kid...

i think i might have been there before, but it was several years ago, so it could have been another hatchery.
i guess its hard to tell, they all look alike. but i do remember seeing bald eagles.

It was at the Fountain Green State Fish Hatchery, just outside Fountain Green, Utah...

I was told that if you go to Willard Bay you can watch the eagles swoop down and catch fish...that's what one of the Rangers was saying...
