Bakers: Any difference between Belgian and regular waffles?

different stuff in them.

For example if you buy a belgian waffle mix, then it will tell you to just add water/seltzer water, while if you want to make traditional waffles using said mix, it will tell you to add egg, butter, and a few other things too.

i think it just depends on where you are when you make them?


really i think it refers to the depth

belgian waffles are the really fat / thick ones

Thats how I think of the difference too.
