I ordered a stick of Kingston 512MB PC3200 KVR400X64C3A/512 for ~$57 after rebate. I just receive a stick of KVR400/512R. The 64C3A is nForce approved and stable at 200FSB while the 512R isn't. While both qualify for the rebate, they are two different item #s and UPCs so it seems hard for me to believe Outpost could screw up on this. Even if I wanted to I probably couldn't get the rebate because it's not the item listed on my receipt.
On top of this, when I called to ask for an exchange for the item I actually ordered, the CSR said I couldn't get the rebate because it would be past the 2-week from order date cut-off point by the time I get it.
This is seems pretty shady. Outpost typically play games like this?
