Photons shooting through your eye. Astronauts are exposed to them at a much higher rate than we are. The only way to stop it is to wear these ugly, thick ass sunglasses and since it doesn't really do much harm to us (since we have the good ol' atmosphere protecting us) most people don't bother.

but I see the same shapes of floaters every single time.

I even named a lot of 'em.... like "golf ball," or.. "mr phallic"

I had that same thing checked out when I was in the service. It's what's left of a blood vessel that ran through your eye when you were VERY young. (Before birth) Is what they told me.

If you see light are photons not passing through your eye? Because light is made up of "packages" called photons?

Those are floaters, and everyone has them. In order to see 'em just look up at the sky during the day (not directly at the sun of course). You may have too many of them though, might want to go to a doctor and get it checked out.

I have them also but not as bad. I don't think there floating as I can kind of control them. Kinda like a type writer. They seem to "float" when I'm focused a particular way but then I can reset them to float the exact same way countless of times.

They're floaters and there is nothing that can be done to fix them. I have them and yes they are irritating however I've learned to ignore them.

LOL i do the same thing when i'm bored.

Sometimes, I get super bored and use 'em as aiming devices.

other times, I play games to see if i can get a number of the floaters to attack a target or land on a target i'm looking at.

anyways, besides that, they're very annoying. I think it's getting worse, or i'm just getting a lot more aware of them.

I'm going to head to the eye doc next week...

The ones that sort of look clear and out of focus are actually in your eye. I can't remember exactly what they are but I know how to get rid of them: look up and down several times. It should make them move away, though it may stir up others. The point is that looking left and right does nothing.

Mine seem to be worse lately as well. I'll ask my doc about it, but he's done pretty thorough exams the last couple of times I've come in and found nothing out of the ordinary. (Save for larger-than-normal lense cups, which I've always had)

god atot is a place of nitwits when you want a proper answer.

Those are particulates in your aqueous humor or is it viterous humor. Basically the clear fluid between your retina and your lens. Under light certain conditions the semi solid clear substance becomes liquidish and now this floaters will float around catching your eye litterally. I have them in my right eye, and it only shows up on certain conditions of light (light blue skies, gray paper, white paper, yellow paper). Basically when your eyes are relaxed you will see them.

However I do suggest getting your eyes checked, cause similar symptoms to having particulates in the aqueous humor/viterous humor can be actually blinding..

It's either some dead cells, or a scratch in your cornea. If it's always in the same place in your eye, it's probably a scratch. If it moves/disappears when you blink, i't's probably something translucent in your eye, like a bit of dead skin.

i got some in my eyes. some are shaped weird like bacteria you see under the microscope. when i move my eyes then stop, the spots continue to move by inertia. i guess it's just some deposit in the liquid. been there for years and haven't chahnged. doesn't bother me if i dont pay atention

Mine do too. Well, one of them. The other is just a long string of 'em.

What are annoying to me are the dark ones. Usually it's just dead cells on the surface of my eye, but I still worry a little.
