Of course you can die. Did you use the commentary mode? Maybe that makes you bulletproof?

The only glitch I noticed was, that some combines rose from the dead, standing there like puppets.

how do i turn the commentary mode off?

i noticed the weird jesus stuff happening to the combine soldiers too.

its in the video section as an option as far as i remember.. maybe audio tab. look for "commentry" anyhow. playing with it on renders you invincible. off means your playing the level as a level, taking full dmg

EDIT: "invincible, not invisible" lol

Not sure why they'd release it with such an obvious bug. I get that when loading/saving games. 😕

Yeah, I played with commentary on, and I was invincible. I just assumed it was because of that.

Is this not a software related problem and not a video related problem?

(the people at valve didn't want you to die while listing to their commentary, so they made you invincible (not invisible) while the commentary is turned on)

Its been released to the public, so it better have not too many obvious bugs (like combine puppets), unless valve wants to demonstrate how buggy their "tech" can be.

i had a few glitches when the commentary was on that enemy AI would be off until nobody was talking.
