her: the things I want to buy are for us! The things you want to buy are for you!

WTF? I didn't want to spend $1200 on a couch. And that $250 you spent at Glamour Shots certainly wasn't something I wanted. Yes, I want a damned bike. I'll admit flat out that it's for me. Why the hell can't you admit that the couch was for you, the pictures were for you, and the Christmas party you want to throw is for you! Had I wanted any of this stuff, I would have been excited about getting it, right? Was I? NO!

But, noooo.... we should spend money on whatever YOU want, because it's for us.

that is a daily conversation we have! LOL! although, for females everywhere, i have to say it... you are wrong!

seriously thoguh, remind her that you both have to make compromises with everything. if she wants to have a christmas party, ask if she could just have a small one, etc.
Good luck man, i tell you what, we can be b!tches!!

HA!

I believe that would work!

Nah, then she'd just cheat on him. When caught, she'd whine about how he wasn't paying enough attention to her and it was 'justified.'

Now, if a woman cuts off sex to her man, she again is justified and he's a lying pig if he cheats on her.

Face it, notfred, most women are simply the most expensive thing you ever purchase. ;)

Is that a souble standard i see rearing its head? ;)

I personally dont believe with holding sex solves anything, in fact, i think it makes matters worse. A therapist once told me that the best thing to do durring an arguement is to start making out and have sex. After you are done, you will usually forget what you were arguing about or it will seem quite silly!

Well duh!

You're being a selfish jerk. Any money you spend on yourself = selfish jerk.

I thought you figured this out a long time ago?

Double standard, indeed!

More people need to know what you know. Withholding physical attention because of an argument is ALWAYS a bad idea in any relationship.
