So there I was, with a beautiful sandwich in my hand, my dad still awake, & Deadwood season 2 on the menu. After struggling to get into season one, it grew on us a bit. We raced somewhat through the last couple discs because on demand had 13-20 waiting. Sometime between now & six hours ago, they changed their listings, & we now have episode 21. 🙁 Blockbuster closes at midnight, so I can't even use those free coupons. 🙁 🙁
My dad has passed out, & I probably won't see him tomorrow(today), so I've retired to my shelter to watch public television & dine on a fruit cup(I forgot the sandwich). :|
Moral of the story: Cherish time with Dad, but damn it if you just know the family dog is going to eat your sandwich. :|
