Bah! Stupid shipping at HPShopping.com...

I'm thinking about picking up an iPAQ (actually, I'm on the verge of it), and have a 10% off orders of $250 or more. I add the 1935 into my cart ($249.99) and need to add one more item; when I do, though, shipping goes up by $30! It doesn't seem to matter what the item is. Anyone have any suggestions? It seems stupid to me that it would cost $30 more to ship a pack of stylus, or some memory, or whatever. 😛

Would get it on the OMax deal, but it's OOS there, and I never trust anything at OMax that is "backordered." They've screwed me over waiting 1mo+ for items too many times. 😛 Any other ideas? HP can get it on my doorstep tomorrow if I order by 7pm PST today. 🙂

Entity: You could try calling them and asking them if they can do something about that. If it's just a penny difference, maybe they can waive the coupon through or find an item that won't jack the shipping up.

Yeah, I'll probably call. Kate's unit is supposed to arrive today (she ordered yesterday, shipped overnight), should be here in an hour or so. I'll check it out and then order one through the phone if I really like it (haved used it @ the store, but not @ home).

Called them, found out that they ship by item cost,not by weight. So by adding a shippable item, it goes up in a bracket, which costs me $30 more. 🙁
