First off, here's a system spec rundown:
Creative PC-DVD ENCORE 12X w/Dxr3
Cambridge Soundworks DTT2500
Plextor 12x4x32 SCSI burner
Adaptec scsi controller
LNE100TX Ethernet adapter
256mb ram
Win2k
12.7 quantum HD
Sound blaster live value
Pentium 3 550mhz
Elsa Erazor X2
Sound Blaster Live Value
My problem is very annoying. Prior to the current setup (I got a DTT2500 and PC-DVD 12X Encore for christmas) I was running a PC-DVD Encore 5X w/Dxr2. It worked fine.
Now, however, I upgraded to the 12X DVD. The audio is out of sync slightly with the video. This makes the lipsync really bad and generally very annoying.
The DVD drive itself resides as master, the only drive on the secondary IDE chain.
So far, I've tried moving my card to other slots in the system, to no avail. I also changed the PIO Mode from AUTO to 4.
If it matters, I'm using the AC-3 output on the Dxr3 to go to the Cambridge amp.
Any ideas?
