I'm leaving a party and walking home, when I see a car driving past me (in the parking lot I'm walking through)...guy driving seems like something's up.... He turns out of the parking lot and *wham* bangs into a truck parked on the side. I stop to check things out (I'm about 60' away from the situation), and he stops like he's going to find out what's up...wrong - he screws, tires screeching and all. :| I never caught a plate, just the car model/make. I went back into the party to try to find the person who owns the truck, turns out it was some girl who I could not find for the life of me. I told a bunch of people what happened, and to make sure the owner found out - I headed home.

wish I caught the plate number so that bastard could get nabbed :|

Hit and runs really suck:|, I was in a pet shop buying some things for the ladys animals and I saw a ditz in a white F150 back into the rear of my car. I tried to catch her but there were to many customers and by the time I made it to the door she was gone. I paid for all the stuff I was buying and went out to the car, at first I didn't see anything but when I went to open the trunk it wouldn't open!! I looked a bit more closely and the the front part of the trunk hatch was slightly bent inward, along with the upper rear end of the car. $423 dollar repair job :|.

did hit and run have a different meaning at one time? i could have sworn it used to mean when a car would pull up, fire a bunch of rounds at a target, then drive off.

Occasionally referred to as a Hit and Run, but usually known as a drive-by. You're both right.

Speaking of which, I just finished with my third reporting spree. Some idiot in a coupe parked in front of the hydrant. It was there before I left here at 5, so it's pretty good to assume he's here partying at one of the college student's dorm. Portland Police was contacted. They'll be here shortly.

The result has been quite positive. Before I started calling the police everytime I saw a car even barely blocking a hydrant, college kids(the student building is basically the only building here without a parking space) parked there whenever there was nowhere else to park. After first call, frequency was reduced. After second call and two SUVs towed, it hasn't happened in a month, but the record was broken today so police was called again.

I saw an old man get run over before. We were pulling into a gas station and I looked and saw an old man standing at the street. I looked away as we pulled in then I heard screeching tires and stuff and I looked up and the old man was splattered all over the road. Then a bunch of ambulences and cops came. It was nasty.

I was sitting in my mom's car waiting for her to finish in the supermarket when the couple parked in front of us came out and began unloading. They were arguing, he was basically throwing the groceries in the car. When he was finished, he shoved the cart away, directly into our car, breaking the RH corner light and scratching the paint. By the time I got my seatbelf off, unlocked the door, and got out he had sped off.

did he realize what had happened or was he oblivious to the fact he bashed your car in?
