Bah. All I can get is the OEM version of the Radeon. Is there is a significant difference?

Well, I just found out that i'm going to get the OEM version of my Radeon 64MB DDR. Apparently the store I bought the computer from sells only the OEM version. :|

I know that the OEM version is slower, but will I notice the difference as an average gamer?

Well...sorta. It'll be about a 3~7 fps change compared to the 183/183 or if you're lucky 200/200 retails. Now depending on the ram chips you received this card will have a lot of overclocking potential. I've heard stories of oem 64ddrs having 5ns chips as of late. If this proves true in your case the mem can run 100% stables at speeds of 183. Depending on the operating system you have will depend on the tweaker which suits your needs. I use windows 2000 pro and have found powerstrip to be the best program for keeping my refresh rates up and my card overclocked. You should visit the excellent faq site composed by some people who must really love their radeon. The address is www.radeonfaq.com.
