Bagels, English Muffins or Crumpets? Which Do You Prefer?

I prefer crumpets followed by bagels then English muffins.

Mmmm...making me hungry thinking about it.

It depends. I like both bagels and English muffins. It really depends on my mood and what I decided to buy for breakfast. English muffins I tend to get on sale and freeze while bagels are purchased more rarely from the bagel shop nearby and eaten within a day or two since they get stale quickly. Can't say I've ever had a crumpet.

I intensely dislike the texture of bagels. Who in their right fucking mind boils bread?

So, since we don't have crumpets readily available that I'm aware of, I choose "English Muffins," even though they're not really English...(I buy Made in the USA...so they're American Muffins.)

crumpets are awesome. they are basically a thick pancake with many holes in the top.
