Bag of money

It's literally made from money. Well it used to be money. Now Venezuela Bolivar is pretty much worthless so they make bags out of it. Bought this for the wife. Paid about $14 from two Venezuela girls on the street who were making and selling it. Probably overpaid but I thought the bag was neat and the Venezuela girls could probably use the Colombian Pesos.

It's pretty sad what's happening in Venezuela. Normal people are suffering while the rich are unaffected. $10 is way more than month's wage in Venezuela right now.

I really like the bag. They had big and small wallets as well. Really clever and well made with working zippers.

Next door in Colombia. Maybe if I was traveling alone I would entertain the thought of entering Venezuela but not with my wife and daughter. Everyone already thinks I'm crazy for putting my family in danger by visiting Colombia.

Well I did get searched twice at the airport. They also asked me lot of questions about why I was there and what I did on my trip.
