Nice title eh? ;) Well, poor baffled is onsite at a place with only *gasp* AOL for internet access, and as such, she cannot respond to PM's or post. She wanted me to ask you guys if you know of any annon services that will let her do that where she is? Thanks in advance for the help guys, I am sure she appreciates it. :)

Just because she has AOL Internet access, that doesn't mean that she can't use a different browser. I'm confused.

but that wont' change your IP adress... If you are trying to get on to AT and you're IP adress is within the range of ones used by AOL-- then you'll be blocked. it sucks becuase AOL is my only way of getting online when i'm not at college

AOL IP addresses are banned due to unchecked trolls from there.

GF: Can Jean use NetZero or another free online ISP? (Or has NetZero gone under/pay only now)?

NetZero's $5.95/month now

*Edit - Scratch that, you can still get 10 hours a month free with NetZero.

Oh, I didn't know that AOL IP addresses were banned here.

EDIT: I wonder what else I don't know about these forums. :)

Hmm,

she can try to set up a wingate or use a proxy, that will give her a different IP.

Or try using telnet and lynx? Tough problem.

Cheers ! :)

There is also safeweb.com, but I don't think it masks ip address. She would have to use another dialup service. Or setup terminal services on her home box.

baffled says to tell you all that she misses you very much, and that she is stuck on a 233 computer she didn't build right now. Poor girl.

She said that was low and she will get you for that. (edited for forgotten smiley) ;)

Hey, I just realized, I could be evil speaking for her, (though I never would) then I could say things and she would get blamed. I need an angel face smiley here about now. :D
