Reading this article, I'm reminded of that Simpsons episode when Lisa and Bart go to boot camp. At the graduation to end the episode, the speaker says:
"The wars of the future will not be fought on the battlefield or at sea. They will be fought in space, or possibly on top of a very tall mountain. In either case, most of the actual fighting will be done by small robots. And as you go forth today remember always your duty is clear: To build and maintain those robots. Thank you. "
Hilarious.
I mean, it's great that we're buiding more and more unmanned vehicles to keep people out of harm's way, but eventually wars will be people with joysticks and controllers in dark rooms shooting at each other's robots...
Wait a second, this means our FPS shooting games are actually military training exercises! Genius!
