BAD_POOL_HEADER

my friend has a dell and when he plugs in his netgear wireless card he gets the blue screen, when he doesnt plug it in he doesnt get the blue screen

also when he plugs in the usb drive he gets a blue screen as well

what could the problem be? he didnt change any settings so would updating drivers really help, cause he had no problems before and i dont know how drivers go bad

but ya any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

He's getting BAD_POOL_HEADER messages *only* when he plugs in his wireless card or USB drive? That's interesting. I would check out the power supply. I've seen low/poor power conditions corrupt data before. I suppose that's somewhere to start, at least.
