Bad Windows Update for Win7 RC1?

Just a little while ago, I downloaded some IE8 security update, and an updated NVidia driver. Shut down the machine, and those updates automatically installed.

Been sitting at the "updating...please do not shut off you computer" screen, doing 1 of 2 updates, for over an hour now.

My friend, also running Win7 RC1, also had some sort of windows update last night, that he said he fell asleep for four hours, and woke up, and it was still on the "updating..." screen on his computer, so he had to shut it down and restart.

I'm running 64-bit, and he is running 32-bit.

What is going on? Anyone else run into an update that doesn't seem to be installing?

Edit: I just remembered, both he and I installed WebRoot AV and AS a day or two ago.

I dunno, must be WebRoot. I just got back to the computer, and it was still hung at the "installing updates..." screen. I just turned it off and back on again. Seems to be fine, but probably minus the updates.
