I was reading threads at 2cpu.com and came across this news. I hope this isn't indicative behavior of most of the online reviews site, because this is shady business indeed. In my oppinion this is flat out unnacceptable.

For those who do not want to surf tho the link here is the read.

"As some of you may know, I work for a online computer retailer, ZeusPC and a recent experience with TJ Galbraith (editor) of VR-Zone just really put a bitter taste in my mouth in regards to the way some people do business.

About 4 months ago we signed up for the "Ultimate Gaming Rig RoundUp" with VR-Zone and promptly sent them a brand new Tsunami M5 ($2500) for review via UPS Next Day Air.

All was well as the review work was done and the results were posted, that was about early September. We then contacted TJ for him to send us the computer back and he agreed to ship it as soon as we get him a shipping label. We then sent him shipping labels both via post mail and email yet weeks passed and still no system, not even a tracking number.

During the months of October to December we contacted him numerous times regarding this matter yet despit of his promises of getting it out "tomorrow" after every phone call or email exchange, something else always comes up. He would use excuses like "The UPS center here only opens from 7-9pm and I have work until 6pm..." or "the UPS pick up truck would only come to my place at 3-5pm when I'm eating lunch", etc...

We are now sick and tired of trying to contact him to get our system back since it seems that he has no intentions of doing it voluntarily. We will pursue any channels and means neccessary to make sure that our position in this matter is clear, that business practices like this will not be tolerated.

So let this be a warning to those of us in the hardware community, becareful when dealing with some of these websites... as even though some are legit and honest, the people that work for them may not be.
