Capacitors are the only thing to be concerned about. Like mentioned above, heat will kill even if not in use. But otherwise you should have no problems whatsoever.

Well, I have an old PIII PC that sat collecting dust for about 8 years. Decided to fire it up last winter just to see if it was still alive. It was an AT PSU. Yep, turned on just fine. It was a gift from my piano teacher, as it was her son's old crappy computer from the time he was in the military, since the computer had a DOD notification at the login screen.
