Idle

CPU: 41C
Mobo: 42C

Low 50s under load

Room temp is about 30C (Like 80-85F). About to turn on AC 😉

Just for the record, the ASUS probe sucks. Zebo's told me that reports are anywhere from 10-15C off. Cross-reference that with SmartGuardian's temp reports or just run your own "test". Touch the HSF or near the chip. 41C should be pretty hot to the touch. There is no way that an XP-120, inside a P180, can result in that much heat.

Well, BIOS reads the same temp. Everest shows 29-33C but whose to say which is right?

Also, I am using fans that are meant more for quietness than cooling (ie using the nexus for cpu cooling and replacing the antec fans with the coolermaster ones). Could that be the reason why the temps are where they are? And having a room temp of 30C should have an impact on the pc too right?

Do you have a link for SmartGuardian? Did a quick google search and found references to it but not an actual website or download link
