Hey guys,.....

umm.....my superorb is killing me......

this is my normal temperature: 53/127 cpu
34/93 case.....

and this is w/ one panel of the case open w/ another outside fan blowing into the computer....
well, it is a hot day...right now, i'm in a roomfull of 3 other computers in my house and temperature is 85 degrees in here......tell me what to do!? what to do to cool my computer?! any suggestions will be greatly helpful....and emailing me is also preferable.... =>>

thanks!

oh yeah....make sure you send/post the most cost effective methods....please!!! i'm a poor college student who's not willing to pay more than 50 dollars for the whole cooling process....(hsf, casefans, etc etc...)...and oh yeah, i have a serious noise problem.....i need lower noise levels!!! thanks guys!!! it's a lot to ask i know! lol

I lowered my CPU temp from 46deg at idle to 40deg when I replaced my super orb with a Global win fop38 heatsink and a fan off a coolermaster DP56H51.
The superorb is crap, get rid of it. You would be far better off getting the HSF I mentioned above, if you want cheap. They cost next to nothing.

I put in two 80mm case fans in the top of the case for exhaust and two high output 80mm fans as intakes; one in the front lower position and one in the side cover, with a duct, to blow directly onto the CPU. This got me down to 36deg at idle.
No use me giving you advice on where to get the stuff, or specs, I live in Australia, but check out your local electronics shops for the fans, or buy online.

Oh yeah, maybe you think about a new username, do that too much and you may go blind.

The super orb is not that good of a cooler.

Volcano II if you care about the noise.

Many others if you don't care how loud it is.

EDIT for blindness
