Bad struts perhaps?

I started to notice a weird noise coming from the rear of my car.
It only occurs when I'm driving slow over uneven pavement.

I pressed down on my trunk and notice slight noises as well. My cousin thinks it's
my struts but he doesnt have time to look at it for me. I hate taking it to the stealer
so I'll see if Firestone can do it.

Any ideas how much struts would cost?

Has the car chassis ever had a lube job? A mech will put your car on a lift and lubricate (using a grease gun) specific points on the frame/chassis. You do not have to go to the dealer for this ... you can try Jiffy or others.

I purchased the car in Feb 07 so I havent but who knows if the person before me has.

My cousin did say maybe it needs a lube job but he wouldnt know unless it was on a lift.
It annoys the hell out of me and I just want to make sure it wont get any worse. I wont be able to take it to a mechanic until Tues since timing is really bad.

Of course now that you say that, watch me take it somewhere and they tell me to replace the struts because they want to make money, whereas maybe all it needs is a lube job.
