Bad start for the week

On the way to work this morning, i rear ended this woman!

Given we were only going ~5miles per hour, it still left a mark.

She was in a toyota camry, and after the accident there was a scuff mark and a few scratches.

she got my insurance information and off we go. I told her to contact me before she goes thru insurance and maybe i'l pay out of my own pocket.

How much do you guys think its gonna cost? I didn't see any dents or cracks, just some blemishishes on the bumper.

how much for a touch up job vs a full bumper respray?🙁
 
You should get that thing where you just wipe it on the pant and it takes the scratches away. If it's just a paint job (verses any other kind of job), then it won't be too much.
 
well the woman had this choice, since its her car, but i want to know a ballpart figure so that i don't get ripped a new one.
 
Depends...I was rear ended by someone. There didn't appear to be any damage, but turns out the structure behind the bumper cover (the bumper?) was damaged, and it was expensive (don't remember exact ammount).
 
Hard to say. It might just buff out but if the paint was actually chipped or gouged then she'll probably want to have it resprayed.

I witnessed a nice bit of road rage this morning. Some jerk weed in a blue Chevy pickup truck was in the wrong lane and tried to cut in front of a guy in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jeep guy sped up and cut off truck guy. Truck guy got in behind him a couple cars and at the next light sped up right behind me and next to Jeep guy. Truck guy proceeded to reach across his car and then decided to put it in park and jump out of his truck to confront Jeep guy. There was some yelling, fist shaking and chest thumping but that was it. Fvcking morons. :roll:

i dont think ur insurance will pay her without one
so you might end up paying it yourself
